Leasing...

If you are confused on what you need to do.
I would suggest go for the lease. This way you have the option of buying at the end, and if you want a change you can always get out of it at the lease end.
I have seen many people follow this example so as to beat higher finance interest rates. This way you always pay lower monthly payments.
If you are still not convinced than go to the dealer and work out the exact costs of a lease and finance and see what works best for you. Most dealers should give you the numbers up front.
I have also leased. But at this moment I am not looking into buying the car at the lease end, it has nothing to do directly with the car. But just various other external reasons.

I did a lot of research before leasing my G. The conclusion I came to is, if you plan on buying the car at the end of the lease, you are MUCH better off purchasing it to begin with. In my case, I leased because I HAVE to give this car up in 3 years, whether I bought it or leased it (just had our first baby and plan on having a second in ~3 yrs, which means it'll be SUV time for me). So in my case, I save a lot of money by leasing.
Of course, if you really can't afford the down payment/ monthly payments of purchasing and are willing to spend quite a bit extra in the long term, then go for the lease. I'm sure quite a few people make that sacrifice in order to afford a bit more car.
I got an '05 coupe (details in sig) for $1600 down, $423/mo for 39mos.

I did a Lease, I pay way more than I think every one. I got mine when it came out, in LI NY I did no research, 3g down 520 month
04 6mt Black 15 k Black on Black Permium package and Full aero kit and other stupid little thing that came with the car when it was made, trunk mat logo all season mats and couple others. No navi
But in 07 Allegedly the AWD, either turboed v6 or NA v8 are coming out so the lease goes back just in time to get your new one
Good Luck
