Just picked up my '05

I've been browsing around here for a while, but this is my first post. I just picked up my fully loaded (no nav) '05 Laser Red with Wheat 6MT. It is absolutely amazing.

I'm leasing and I got a great deal. I do plan on buying after the three years though. We'll see.

I'll post up pics tomorrow

not to start anything, and I always lease, but why did you lease if you already plan on buying it at the end of 3 years.

Maybe he got a better rate with the lease than financing it...in which case he'll turn it into a "lease-to-buy"

You shouldn't get a better rate through leasing, the lowest should be just above 5% and thats with real good credit. With real good credit you can get lower than that when financing.

Maybe his payments are just lower this way? Becomes a 7 year loan. Not the best deal in the end, but if he's happy *shrug*

I got a lease b/c of the lower payments. Right now I think ill buy it at the end, but If i don't whatev then.

Either way (lease/financing) you lose money. I am VERY happy with the car though.
