My G was mistaken by a guy as a Porsche!

I think lots of people probably say Lexus(not personally) because they do not know much about cars and when "they" think nice cars, they think Lexus.

 

My wife likes to bug me by telling me the rear of my car looks like a Mercury Cougar

 

They mistaked my car for a Lambo Murcielago.

 

I've never mistaken the G35 for anything else. But rather, I think it was back in '03, that I saw a Tiburon from its rear 3/4 and thought it was a G35.

I know. Thinking back I feel like an idiot now.

 

Lexus a couple of times.
When others ask what kind of car it is and I say Infiniti about half the people don't know what Infiniti is. They usually ask then what is an Infiniti or who makes it.

There is very low brand awareness around here.

 

I agree...I never see any advertisements or billboards, especially at the airports where I spend most of my time...all I see are lexus, etc.

They need to do more commercials?

 

It's not only in Canada. Last night I was talking to a buddy of mine from NW Florida, he's never even seen a G. I don't know if it's because of the color of my car but he said it looks so much like the 350Z haha. I take it as a compliment because I love Daytona Blue.

 

As the weeks go buy, more and more people are asking what my car is...i just had someone ask me if it was my Lexus at a gas station...

 

ive had so many retards come up to me and say "thats that nissan z right?" personaly i dont think the cars look anything alike everyone says it does...

 

lol ive had the batmobile comment plenty of times....also the night rider comments.

 

I get a lot of people that say it looks like the Lexus SC 430. I don't really see it, except for maybe the front lights/grille, a little...

 

I got at a gas station once "you got a nice Chevy there, is that their new Caprice model?" and the owner had a Caprice.

When I was picking my gf up from work.. this was at like 10pm... the parking lot is VERY big and at around 10 no body is there cept security (who race in the parking lot).. to give you guys an example.. i can probably hit 80mph before I hit the brakes.. so as i enter the lot i really let it rip in 2nd and into 3rd gear..

as i was pulling up some guy next to my gf was "hey is that the new nissans" that point my gf was like O.o... then the guy next to him "naw thats a toyota" after that my gf was just like .___.

when she told me this at dinner i almost mistook the knife in my hand as a spoon.. i mean nissan, okey understandable.. infiniti = nissan, g35 = 350gt(nissan), 350z = nissan).. so okey but toyota?!!!!
