What Has Your G Been Mistaken For?

Hello all,

I was washing my car today at my complex and the maintenance man started asking me questions about my coupe...he stated he loved the lines of the car blah blah blah, but what happened next took the smile off my face....

as he was backing his truck out he shouts out the window "was is that, a MITSUBISHI?" i was quick to correct him, but disturbed at the thought that other dumb A$$ES on the road are doing th same thing.....

As a disclaimer I recently moved to Cincinnati for work and its very conservative AKA ignorant for the most part

So my question to you all is : Has anyone mistaken your car for another manufacturer and if so what?

Not sure if this thread has been posted but i figured it changes all the time...

G's Up

p.s. i washed and waxed the whip whip MeGuires NXT, and the stuff is awesome...no more swirl marks from the dealer detail job....i highly recommend it...

Someone thought it was a redesign of the Toyota Solara. I felt really insulted. :/

A Lexus. I sent a pic of a G to my friend in Europe saying that's the car I wanted (didn't have it back then). Didn't mention model or make.. He responded that he wished me to get my Lexus soon

one thought mine was a mazda.
my cousin, who only saw the car once or twice, mistakenly approached a solara coupe thinking it was mine

So far it hasn't been confused with anything.

One time I started my car in a parking lot and some toothless white trash lady snapped her head around and asked "The fuuck is that kinda car?" I just laughed and drove off.

3 Lexus comments so far. Lexus doesn't make ANYTHING that looks this good IMO.

For the person above who said Porsche: now that's a compliment.
