i'm getting 3m clear bra($650) for my G's hood and sideview mirrors, is that a good deal in columbus ohio? if you know better deal please let me know THX

 

It's been a freaking nightmare, but I'm getting a clear bra from the dealer for less than $500. Don't ask...it involves installing the wrong bra and then accidently removing bumper paint when they tried to install the correct one...

 

Moose, for $650, you should get the hood, bumper, mirrors, and headlights. Is this dealer or another installer?

Other optional pieces are door edges and trunk opening, but I didn't get those.

 

600 dollars in the md area.i have few friends with it and they love it.if you love your car you cant go wrong with the clear bra

 

Where did you get it done in MD? What did the $600 include?

i got my clear bra put on for 600 bucks at the infiniti dealership in columbus. they tried to charge me 900...i got the complete kit, hood, bumper, fenders, door handles, door sills, gas tank lip, side mirrors, door lips everywhere you can think of....

call the dealership and tell them dr. patel sent you....call 1800 837 1160 and ask for dwight allred...not sure if they give it to you for that price since i bought the car from them.

but make sure you get the hood and front bumper fenders and mirrors for sure the other stuff was a bonus

 

even here in the bay area, some dealerships try to sell this option at about a grand and then work down by giving some type of "discount". Dealerships do not put it on themselves. They just contract it to a local installer and mark it up........they generally try to push for 100% mark up on the bra. We normally charge dealerships about $500.........

sorry guys, i hate calling myself Dr but no one ever says my first name right and im sick of correcting people all the time so i go with Dr. Patel....my first name is Sachin, prononced Sa-chin. All my correspondence was as Dr. Patel so i did not want you to call and have Dwight be like "who is Sachin?"

sorry to hear dwight could not do it...i called him to give him a heads up, but it turns out they made a mistake on mine and i lucked out....but i think 500-600 is the going rate for a basic kit that includes the hood, bumper, fenders and mirrors

 

Well ... dealerships I've seen in the BA actually sell it for 2K, for complete kit.

You guys do it for cheaper ? :-)

dealer told me yesterday clear bra was $695. but he would do it for $645. I called him said I would put it on for $600 he said it costs him $595 to get put on, he wouldn`t do it for nothing I told him to do it for $645 then. This is in St Louis, Mo.
