Sticker from Parking warning, cant get adhesive off!!

Well I got one of those bright orange warning parking stickers on my driver side door and window, and man do those things have some sticky adhesive. I am having trouble getting it off the paint. I scraped it off the window with a blade, but there is some on the paint that doesnt want to come off. I tried detailing spray and a towel but just keeps smearing it. WHat should I do?

Match on the laquer thinner too?

+1 on goo gone or any other adhesive remover from an office supply store. Just make sure you wash and apply wax/polish on the affected area after you use the stuff.

i hope you haven't done any of the above yet w/o trying just WARM WATER and rubbing it gently. i had one of those before plastered on my Si, was a bitch to take off, then a bystander gave me that advice and it came off easily.

I heard just plain ol' vinegar will work too... I don't know about acetone, that sounds like it could really jack your finish. Especially if you get any on plastic/rubber pieces.

Use AVON skin so soft and a razor blade. If you get any on your hands you'll be "oh, so beautiful".

BTW it really does work!
