problem adding spoiler plz help

i have an 04.5 that came without the spoiler and i want to add one. i have been wondering what i will do about the brake light though, because the factory spoiler comes with one. is there any way to remove the brake light that is under the rear window or is there something else to do about it?

you can remove it, but the hole is huge and you will see it thru the rearview mirror in the glass. You can probably get some carpet material and cover it. For me I just unplugged it and left it there.

call some of your local salvage yards and see if any of them have a totaled G35 w/spoiler that still has a rear deck in good shape. Long shot, but I bet if you find one I'd think you could get it for next to nothing.

...or you can purchase a spoiler other than the oem that doesn't have the brake light.

order one from infiniti, there MUST be a way to order it... imagine the cars that got into an accident, they have to order that part if it got damaged, so so can you!

i had this 4th brake light on my 04, and my 05 came with a spoiler and im so much happier not having that light there!

i agree, and then get some dark tints. I have the same setup, you can't really see the brake light anymore.
