Buying a new G on Mon. Is this a good deal
If you're buying the car in Texas, Grubbs is not the end all be all.

Not all buyers have to go through a long negotiating process to get a good price. My wife's 05 CPE 6MT, which we ordered in late January, took all of 10 minutes on the phone to negotiate at $500 over Invoice - and of the ten minutes, probably intros and greetings and chit chat resulted in maybe 2-3 minutes of actual "negotiating."

Is saving another 300-500 worth waiting another couple of weeks, hoping they have it in stock, another round of haggling with salespeople, then they delay the delivery, make you wait around. etc.. etc.. May not be worth the aggravation.. If you dont mind all this then go forr it..
I got the car for $35,000. It's right at $500 above invoice. I let them know that I wasn't paying more the $35,000 and for them not to add on any additonal fees, i.e. $50 documentary fee. They told me that they add that fee for everyone. I simply stated that if that was the case then I wanted the car for $34,950. If I get there today and it's $10 over $35,000 I will walk out and find the car elsewhere. I can't wait to pick it up. I want to thank everyone for their advice and I look forward to being a contributing member of this site.
