Can anyone with an 05 AT comment on the new REV matching?

Is it really any different tha 04 ATs? when you pop the shifter from auto into manual mode, does it go into same gear, or does is downshift to lower gear right away?

 

when you go from auto drive to MM it depends on the speed you are going as to which gear it will start in.

The rev matching happens when already in MM, and you downshift, it will goose the throttle a little for you.
