Allforcash, while i appreciate your opinion, the 2005 didn't come with the Brembos or else I would have gotten them. I didn't want to spend 3-4K on a BBK. The stock brakes seem to work fine for me (The brakes are improved from 2004 non-brembo for what its worth). Whether it looks "ricey" is up to the individual. I personally love the look of the red calipers and am glad I did it. Again, is it a brembo or is it powdercoated?...no. But, I like it and thats all I really care about. I posted it to let others know what it looks like if they want to do it. I tried to find pics prior to me doing it but had trouble. So, take it for what its worth.

The one on my first post is the close up that I have. Maybe after work tomorrow, I'll take some more.

looks good despite what other's think. a big brake kit would be ideal but this is an easy mod that adds a nice touch .

actually considering doing this as well... is it hard to do? did you take off the caliper? any advice you can give would be great.

Its easy. You just have to take the wheel off and mask parts you dont want to paint. Thats the time consuming part. The rest is just painting with the brush (everything is included, except tape, with the G2 kit which I got off ebay for $32 bucks). But theres no need to take the calipers off unless you really want to do an A+ job and paint the back of them. I didn't bother as the only person who would ever see the backside would be the mechanics and I could care less what they see.

Overall...its time consuming but easy. No more than 2-3 hours for the project.

They Look ok. Good job on them. I'm really interested in why you changed your HID bulbs? Got pics of them at night? Also, you changed your fog light bulb? What did you put in?

Thanks

I wanted a little more of the blue look (ala BMW and Audi even though I know they get theirs b/c of the reflection). I spent more for the Philips brand as I read they are far superior. As for the fogs, I changed them out to Philips 5000K Diamond Vision.

Here is a side by side of the Philips 6000K and the stock bulb. FYI the car was still jacked up on one side.

I'll go get a pic of the fogs now...though I dont have a side by side as I forgot to take the pic

Ok..here is the pic of the fog bulb. Obviously next to the Philips 6000K buld, its wayyyy to yellow but I don't drive with the fogs too much. Mostly for the high beams. Also, when not in use, you get a nice little blue reflection within the light housing.

Here is the picture of the blue reflection. One with and one without the flash going off the camera. I took a chance on the Diamond Vision as its the highest K H4 bulb from Philips. But next to the 6000K bulb, everything looks yellow.
