Hey guys,

Is the buckle built into the seat or just the bracket or what?

well I just tore out my whole interior (seats, panels, about to pull console and carpet) - I will look. I think it is bolted to it...

Yep - it is bolted to the side

you would have to remove the seat (sort of a PITA)

1) slide seat forward remove the two plastic covers on the rails - use a 14mm to remove the two bolts
2) slide seat back, remove the two plasic covers on the rail
3) !!!! DICONNECT BOTH BATTERY TERMINALS !!!! NOW !!! to insure the airbag won't deploy
4) wait at least 3 minutes
5) remove the 2 bolts
6) tilt seat back and free the wire harness, unplug the various connectors
7) lift out the seat (easier if you have removed the headrest
there ya go

no way I could know, you'd have to bolt them to something

I thought that seatbelts were bolted down to a bolt that goes directly into the chassis as a rule of thumb?

Hey ya

- I have no iddea what is legal and not for seat belts, 4 point vs stock, etc.
I have seen a couple G's with 4 point at the dyno day a few weeks ago... maybe one of them knows and will see this and post.

Civic4982. Maybe true as a 'rule of thumb' but it isn't true here. The reel, and anchor for the belt are bolted to the body at the door pillar, but the 3rd point (the snap in) is bolted to the seat. It would make sense, given that the seat moves forward and back quite a lot, if it were hard mounted it would be hidden when the seat was forward, and 'loose' when the seat was back as the bucjle would be too far forward,
