I just found a long scratch on the trunk of my car. It's very thin but it bugs the hell out of me. Should I just take it to a auto place or is there a product I can buy to fix it myself?

Meguiars Scratch-X, 7 bucks a pop. Works wonders on surface scratches. Can be found at your local:

Target
Pep Boys
Kragen
or anything like those stores...

After you apply it...wash your car or atleast that whole area around including the scratch....then hand wax it, buff it and viola...no more scratch.
