Yes, the 03's & 04's require the new climate controls AND the bracket. Do a search in the DIY section and there's a full article on the install.

Just a quick question concerning the AVN5435. Are you still able to load in 6 CD's after you install it and does it have a 20GB harddrive like the AVX2494 does?

 

youre wrong you dont need the bracket... your car comes with one!

ALL G's require the A/C controller and the finisher, thats it!...

 

you take out the old head unit, so no, you lose the 6-CD changer...

and no it doesnt have the harddrive...

as you can see, the AVN replaces the entire headunit!

i dont have STOCK navi on my new 05 G can i install the AVN how much will it go for? please someone answer this question LoL i want to be able to use NAVI // dvd // and radio. thats about it. i dont care for 6 CD or anything how much would it cost with installation?
