What's the REV light?
I just got my 2005 coupe 6M last month. I've been loving it, 40km drive to work every early morning has become a pleasure!
There is a light "REV" in the middle of the center instrument which is constantly on, just above the "slip" indicator. Is this an indication of something??

its basically a light that flashes telling you "SHIFT U DUMBFUC"
I got it, tried it and worked, how did you guys figure it out, not a word about this indicator nor the gear shifting warning level adjuster on the trip meter on the owners manual. The sales guy who sold me the car at the infinity dealership didn't know what it was either.
It's kinda useless feature (you might as well look at the tachometer to see the revolution if you got time to see this REV flashing, or go by the rev sound of the engine).
Anyways thanks for the tips.

Hey Mportpunk!
If you have Windows XP, it has a built in Japanese language support, go to control panel / regional and language option / Language tab / Detail button, then add Japnese key board (MS IME standard 2002 ver.8.1). However, you have to know how to use Japanese "henkan" typing method.
As for the price of 2005 G35c sport package in Canada...the MSRP is CND$49,300. I got $2700 discount thru connection with the Nissan group, but add Freight&PDE and luxury car tax of 10% and provincial tax of 7.5%. (I guess with US exch rate today @1.23, it's equivalent about US$45,000 to $48,000 all in, in Canada)
As you can see it really adds up and sucks. Taxes are too much here, we live in commi here.
How much do they go for in US?

Hey sukairain! (sorry, this particular computer i'm using is running Win 2K pro, no IME support!) all the way in sunny, beautiful hawaii (actually, it's been raining like hell here the past 3 weeks) the G35 coupe base retails for about $33K (that's MSRP). In addition to the destination charge of like $600 (?) and a 4.166% state sales tax, the numbers sorta look something like this:
2005 G35 Coupe 6MT
Car: $33,150 (MSRP)
Prem Pkg: $2,450 (MSRP)
Dest. Charge: $610
Dealer Documentation Fee: $195
Hawaii Tax (4.166%): $1,516.89
Hawaii License/Registration fee: $150.00
Total: $38,071.89
Of course, this is before the negotations of the MSRP off the car and options packages. Wow, I was being sarcastic when I said "$50K" - dude, you could get an '06 M45 Sport for that money!
man, you canadians must be rich! i heard that you don't pay sales tax in Oregon, so what would happen if you bought it in the U.S. and just drove it over the border?
