heard squeak noise from my brakes

i had my windows down while drove home yesterday and heard squeaky noise from my brakes(i guess the front ones) when i tried to slow down from freeway speed. i called the dealership to ask if i can bring it in, the service lady immediately asked me "you drive a g35 right?" it appears this thing is quite normal for the g35 models, she suggested to me the noise might caused by the dirty brake rotors and recommended to wash the car first and if the noise still exists then bring it in. i haven't washed my car for over a month now and my front rims are kind of dirty, so i will wash it first and see what happens. was she right? does this happen alot to the g35s? btw, my car only has 3500 miles on it.

do you have brembos? mine squeak. it's just a fact of life for sports/performance brakes. just make sure your brake pads arent worn to the nubbins.

I don't have the Brembo, as mine is the '05

I had no problem till aboy 8k miles....
after a lot of rain, dust, dirt....

Mine zI need tostrip/clean/and relube the shims,
but on many, taking a hose with a spray nossle and srapying out the brake dust will in fact remove the noise.

No mrembos here either. I"ve got the 04 5at with stock 18's. Keep in mind that the dealer will check/replace your brakes for the first 36,000 miles under warranty......you can always go in and have them check it out at any dealership.
