Navigation Easter Eggs
Hello fellow G35ers,
Just curious about something, you know how some computer software has something call Easter Eggs, those hidden or secret codes programmers put in to make something happen just for fun. You usually have to push a combination of buttons or put in a command in order to activate them. You usually find them in PC software and DVDs also.
Has anyone discovered any Easter Eggs for the stock navigation system? Personally I would like to find one to bypass the User End Agreement screen where you have to push the enter button every time you turn it on. I like the WOW factor I get from people when it comes up when I crank the car up but then I have to wait to push the enter button. I wish it would go straight to the map. It’s no biggie but still it would be nice. By the way is this the case with all navigation systems in other cars as well?
It would also be cool if there were an Easter egg that after you activated it the game Pong comes up (while not driving of course) or better yet the classic game Pole Position, just kidding…well maybe not.

There is a mod that pushes the enter button for you, but from what understand its a real PIA to install and not worth it from what people say.. you have to sodder a little chip to the navi board. (Its basicaly a simple timed switch connects the "enter" button circuit shortly after it gets power) you have to pull your dash apart and if you screw up the install you can fry your navi. Not worth it IMO...
