does ne 1 know where the button/switch is to stop the windows from dropping that 1/4 inch since i have finally realize this is why my tints keep peeling up......................

 

The door jam has a black "bellows" looking device. Just above that (I think it's above that) is a black plastic part with a phillips head screw in it. Loosen the screw (with the door open of course) and the window contact switch will disengage.
