Flat Tire.OMG!!!
Flat Tire.OMG!!!
my friend just got a coupe on MOnday. but today the tire went flat!! He didn't run over anything or go over a bump. there was no nail or hole or anything. The service people said this is not cover by warranty! but come on this is not normal wear and tear. should he argue to get it paid by the dealer.
I remember when I got my coupe that they offered me to get an add-on warranty for the rims and tires. This is including flat tires, bent rims, etc. I doubt the dealer will pay for it, but keep trying.

I'm surpised that the dealer wouldn't help your friend, since the ride is almost new.
He should find another who will help.

That would include the rim being dipped in there too...not practical.

Unfortunately tires are not covered by the new car warranty, and is not covered by the tire manufacturer for road hazard, there's separate insurance for that.

K, go find a trash can and take a whole tire/rim that we already know doesn't function just to proove there is a pin hole...then what?
inflate the tire to 40-50psi. Next add soapy water into a spray bottle.......spray up the valve stem, along the rim lip, or any areas where the leak may be coming from. Air just doesn't disappear, it must be leaking from somewhere.
