I've never been treated with more disrespect than at an Audi dealer. The salesman are scum. I will never own one in my life. Plus, they are unreliable. My friend's got an A4 and he's complaining about it all the time.

Audi is so overpriced for what it is, it makes me laugh at the sales people trying to convince you, you would make a great purchase and get the best value for your money.

Reliability??? I don't think so. Have you checked their service standards and costs?

Good luck to you.

Exactly, a different line...a cheaper line...and ofcourse a more common variety so more problems per 100 cars because obviously more Nissans are sold than Infiniti's.

Don't quote me, but I read somewhere that Nissan had issues with their Quest minivans, which hurt their ratings

S4s are nice, but not for nearly 60gs. I'd go for the M3 if anything. Oh, but wait, the M45 is here now, that is one bad *****!

The s4 is a ugly car especially the 05, the new back is disgusting. If you are going to spend $50K on a car mine as well put it down on an m3 which is so much nicer and way faster. s4 is nasty and i dont mean that in a good way.

Regarding Infiniti/Nissan and Lexus/Toyota, I believe for the most part Infiniti (except for QX56) and Lexus cars are built in Japan while Nissan and Toyota cars are for the most part built in the US. That in itself gives you the quality differences. I also suspect that the luxury brands have higher quality standards than the non-luxury brands.

i think the new s4 with the v8 is sweet! now...it is not a G, but it's a different car. i got to drive the new s4 today at work. the exhaust note on the s4 is just amazing. thats the first thing i noticed. the car definitely hauls some butt and has the all-wheel drive capabilities that you need. the only thing i dont like about the s4 is...the looks are so bland. the car doesnt stand out. the G looks amazing. i heart my G. another thing, ive driven quite a few audis with +50k miles on the odometer and they look and feel like a piece of crap. anyways, best of luck to you with your choice. you will most likely get bias opinions anywhere you go that the site is designated for a particular car. im sure you know that though...

Hope you don't live in Cali...or else enjoy the gas prices with your new V8 Oh and not to mention the $2600 or so "Gas guzzling" tax.

The new S4 is very "light" feeling, not typical of a german car. Not the feel of an M3 or G. I had a love/hate realtionship with my A4 quattro. But this is for sure... the AWD is over-rated (unless you plan to rallye the car) for daily use, it's non-existant actually, but the car will never leave you stranded... it will however manage to break every little switch or gismo and the dash will permanently light-up like a christmas tree. Good luck to you.

I'm a big fan of the 05 S4's so i can easily see the appeal. It's a sick car.

I looked at one in Red, it was awesome...looked stunning but if i was ready to drop nearly that much on a car I'd be lookin at M3's.
