i'm not sure how long this can last, but i just haven't bothered putting the front and rear plates on yet and have left the windshield temporary sticker on my car. from the outside, there are no dates on it. i figure until i feel like it, i'll just leave the temporary sticker there and have no plates. when cops see that i have no front plates, they automatically see the windshield sticker and no rear plates and will assume it's a new car.....i can't get ticketed by the photo-traps either!!! : )

i'm thinking of designing a bracket, or retrofit for the OE bracket that screws into the tow hook. i like the way the OE bracket is keyed into the bumper keeping it aligned, but also like how the Stillen and Strictly Z brackets are attached without drilling the bumper.

methinks i'll take mine off one of these days and figure out what size threaded rod and what kind of adapter plate would need to be made.

the tow hook is located in your spare tire tools. Just get another and chop the end off or take the hook down to home depot or wherever and find its mate.
