really depends on apples to apples - I have been told the early Sedans didn't even open the throttle all the way.
If you take say an 05 sedan AT and a 05 Coupe AT I would doubt much difference at all. Both about the same weight, same engine, same tranny.
The Brembos won't stop any faster than the stock 05 brakes, they really only get you two things... bragging rights, and better at the track if you track alot (they are supposed to be better as far as fade after a lot of braking - though I have never seen proof of that, but it stands to reason)

The altima and maxima are pretty quick, all 4 cars will generally run about the same times. I think the newer maxima's though are slower than the new altimas because of the weight difference. Personally I think the altima is the best bang for the buck. For about $25k you can run mid 14's stock, have lots of room, decent interior and a nice looking exterior....

I have owned a few FWD cars and the only difference I notice from owning a RWD car is the rear end breaking loose if I take a corner hard and hit the gas (which i might add is very fun). Other than that the torque steer that all RWD owners complain about in a FWD is hardly noticeable and it "gave a feeling" that you were going faster.

3.5 Altis are marginally faster than Maximas, in 02/03 because Maximas had overrated hp and in 04/05 because of the weight difference. I remember a number like 5.9s 0-60 for the 5MT Alti and 6.0s for the 02/03 6MT Max. But whatever the case, the fastest bone stock auto Maximas I know of run ~14.4 (that's for both 5.5 gen and 6th gen). The average is more like 14.7-14.8.
Oh and torque steer is definitely there, just floor a FWD out of a corner and you'll end up 2 lanes across. I can feel it even in my Maxima and it's not all that torquey.
