1Gig your car is so sick... it makes me feel better knowing that even your car has swirl marks.

i had the same dilemma but in the end i chose DG and i'm very happy with it. in the past i had a black car, my friends have black cars, and they all look like crap after two years or so. when i bought the G, i wanted this car to withstand the test of time after say five years. DG was the only choice. it's a nice gunmetal color and it looks great in all kinds of lighting. the best part, you can't really tell when a DG G35 is dirty or have scratches, swirl marks, or dings. it's an awesome color.

Im not being biased when i say this, well maybe i am, but black is just a sexy color on this car. I think it's the best color for this car. Black is elegant, sporty, and devious

But just like having a hot girl, having a hot car is high maintenance. Having a black G myself, I can honestly say I RARELY ever see my car clean. I swear my car is a dirt magnet. Maybe 5 or 6 days after I wash my car, my car is dirty again! Its a nightmare keeping this car clean, but when it is clean.....ohhh man....it's hot

swirl marks n stuff are all avoid able and fix able.. i've had my car for about a month and a half now.. theres no swirl marks on her.. only unavoidable damage such as rock chips and some minor scratces on the wax & clear coat. but yeah dust does build up especiall on the rear/trunk deck of our cars

I always wanted a black car, and I finally got the G in the color that I wanted. I'm not as meticulous as other G owners and was my car once a month, and yes it looks dirty again a few days later.

But for those few days when its clean its look incredible! The black will always look better clean, but the DG will look better after a week without washing. Judging by your posts, you'll regret not getting a black G.

Get the car you want and the color you want. Its worth the hassles.

I've had tons of compliments on the color. People say it looks like mercury or liquid metal.

DG Baby!

DG - easy to match with other colors
Black - eh...i'd say it is limited

i agree that black looks better than other colors. (ivory pearl looks great too!)
it depends on how you modify the car. i am going to keep the stock look for some time and i chose to get DG. it is bit of pain when you have a scratch/dent etc regardless of its size. if you already have another car to drive and willing to spend some bucks on the car, get black. otherwise i strongly recommend you to get DG. you wont regret!

I have a black sedan and it really is a b*tch to keep clean. But when it is clean, there is nothing sexier. I love DG as well. I would stick with the DG since you live in an apartment and would have trouble keeping the black G clean. Whatever your choice, have fun and drive safe.

Black is NICE ...........when it someone else's car....

IMO DG is the way to go. You can go weeks between washes and the car will still look clean.
