damn.i'm bumping anything to do with painting stock wheels today

50% is too light, expecially for black.

The lightest I'd even consider is about 40%.

 

anyone have the 05 19in wheels painted? any pics?

 

I have an 05 Black G .... i tinted 5% all around, and i LOVE it.... honestly that extra darkneess on a black or white car really makes a hell of a difference.


I was going to powdercoat a gloss black for the 19"s but i realized that it isnt really the look i'm going for. so for now im keeping the rims as is, and im going to eventually look for some HOT 20" silver wheeles to go on it.

Its all a matter of taste, but paint will chip, you want a powerdercoat w. maybe a gloss finish, depends on what look youre lookin for.

 

I wanted to paint mines gunmetal a month ago and test it in ps, but then somehow I change my mind.
