Hmmm, what to do?

Ok, so I'm takin' this chick out this Friday night, and I want to drive her in style, so I was planning on driving the G, but she wants to go to this place that happens to be situated in the same vicinity as a shopping mall. I really don't want to leave the G parked there for like 3 hours. Now I'm thinkin' I should just say screw it, and drive the truck so I don't have to worry about dings, keys, and theft. Opinions?

First impression means everything but you don't want to let the girl know that you have money and this is the kind of car she'll be in if she get with you. Test her out first to see if she really likes you for you and not for your car. Sure it's always nice to ride in style to a first date, but i would not having risking the G to get ding at a mall for no first date. Plus, would you want a gold digger for a girlfriend?

If you are not drving the car because you are scared of dings or something in the parking lot.... suck it up and drive the G. Park it at the end of the lot with the mercedes and BMW people. Everyone loves a G...

Great replies guys I think I'll take the truck, then I can focus on the date instead of looking at the window every 5 minutes and making excuses to "use the bathroom" so I can go out and inspect the car.

Get your priorities straight.

Car, then the girl. hehe.

Take the truck. You ain't going to impress a girl with just your car.
It's wat's inside that counts.

man are you a faag? take the chick in the G and deal with the unlikelyhood it will get dented etc. park some where where you are safe from dings. do this, take her to the main entrance, then stop and open her door and then escort her in. take your car then and park park it. dont let the valet park your ride. tell your girl yovee heard bad stories about that place ans valet. or then just simply tip the valet a 50 and have him park it right in front or better yet give him a 1oo spot and park yourself. i have gotten away with parking my self (after the chick drop off) for a mere 50 bucks and right in front of the joint. yea mackin that shiiiit! period

Dude, I'm never safe from dings. I had the car for 2 days, drove it twice, parked it once outside a sports store for not more than 15 minutes, came out, and someone had pressed (fallen against, or punched) the quarter pannel. I parked it about 50 yards away from anyone too. I have the worst luck with this kind of Shi*! I just don't think I could take going through all the hassle with fixing this thing again so soon. Also, today's society is just plain f***ed up, if someone is jealous, they will key your ride. No thanks, not risking the car just yet. She's driving her own ride anyway. If I was picking her up, different story.

yeah...on Saturday I went to a salon to buy my girl some shampoo (yeah I'm whipped and she was working)...I found only one spot near the store and it was between a suburban and some other car I can't remember now....I thought "damn that's a tight space...well, I'll only be in there for like 2 minutes"....I parked the car, walked in the store, grabbed the Paul Mitchell, walked to the counter (literally that fast), was being rang up and looked out the window to see the suburban pulling away....immediately thought "f**k!"...I got out to the car and was relieved to find nothing....later that day, washing (actually drying) the car, there it was....damn!...very small ding and scuff, not even noticeable, but it's there....good thing I work in a body shop with paintless dent repair techs all day long due to recent hail storms....they offered to fix it for free....point being...it can happen in the shortest of visits to whatever parking lot....I was there for 2 minutes tops...

Again, get your priorities straight.

Tell your gf that the store was out of that stuff she wanted so
didn't get some no name sh*t cause you care about her so much.

hehehehe.

(my wife's probably looking at this and saying 'SO THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!!
hahaha....too late now honey).
