Are the 12v power plugs always on in the 05? The last entry I found in search was from 12/03. If not always on, can the dealer convert it to on when the ignition is off? I often charge my cell phone when not in the car. My new 05 coupe is on order so I can't check it out myself.

 

I would assume they are switched like in the 03's; you would have to rewire the fuse box probably. Definitely doable, but no idea what the dealer would tell you....
