Decision Time...Please help!

I know, say it isn't so. I love the coupe. It is far and away the best car I have ever had. I could spend an hour extolling the virtues of this car.

My son is almost a year old and I feel I don't drive the car nearly enough, when we go out as a family it is almost always in the MDX. Hence my problem, I think the new 6mt sedan might remedy the problem. It has more horsepower than my coupe and looks pretty good to boot. Of course the coupe crushes it in looks.

I welcome opinions on my dilemma. Obvious alternatives are the Acura TL, Audi A4 and Bmw 3 series. My only true pre requisite is it must come in 6mt and have 4 doors.

In addition, I leased my 04 coupe. It is loaded with everything but nav. I have only 6k miles on it after a year. Any ideas on the best way to unload it. There are 24 months left on the lease. My payment is only 420 a month and as I said it has everything including the aero package. The car is truly in mint condition.

I appreciate your suggestions.

I guess it all depends on how often you go out with the family, because if that's the case, then you would rarely enjoy the full potential of any sporty car since you will have a 1 year old son sitting in the back and won't be able to toss the car around. I would then get either the Acura TL or BMW 3-series, but for lower maintenance cost, I'll get the TL. I test driven the TL and the 6MT is VERY smooth and so is the ride. The clutch feels good and it's easy to find the engagement point. But if you want to lean to more of the performance side....get the BMW, I think you can't go wrong with any of your choices, including the G Sedan. It all depends on what you're going to mainly use the car for

If you have to have a manual tranny then I would go with the TL, if you think you can pass on it.... get the M.

I particularly don't love the looks of the G35 Sedan. I would take the Coupe anyday, but the sedan doesn't really do it for me. I think the TL is definitly the way to go for you. After driving one, I realized it is definitly sporty. Its looks are nice too. Good luck on finding your new car.

Thanks,
Chase

to be unbiased ... i think you need to go to each dealer and test drive the car... talk numbers over email.

the TL is bigger than the A4 and BMW 3. But BMW and Audi come with AWD. I will vouch for the AWD system anyday, anywhere... the best thing in the rain or snow.
As for the G35 sedan, I don't like the looks. But why not try something new for a change... go german.

Wow, you coupe guys would recommend a different car over the G35 sedan? Love is blind I guess.

Three reasons not to get the TL...front wheel drive.
