Try the Michelin's in 20". Now that's expensive. I've got 245/35/20 F and 285/30/20.

BFG [tires] is owned by Michelin. They use these mostly old fashioned [human intensive factories] to make their lower quality tires.........noise and smoothness [radial force numbers] take a back seat to price.
With tires you get what you pay for...........but like most things premium only costs 20% more to make yet sell for a premium way above the incremental.
Premium gasoline cost the station 5.5-6-7 cents more per gallon yet sells for 20 cents more.

I currently have the BFG GForce on my G and haven't noticed
any difference in performance or noise compared to the Pilot Sports.
I've had several sets of BFG's in the past and have loved the performance and treadlife, plus they cost less. Just my .02

The ES100 has a relatively poor showing in WET braking and handling.

103.8 >95.7 feet [5 different tests] from 50 mph compare to 6-12 feet less for a Pilot Sport...........as I said 10% better wet performance can almost double the tire prices at retail.
