Did infiniti add free maintenance services for 05?

I was at the dealership and during my test drive the salesman mentioned that maintenance services (oil changes, etc... like lexus and bmw) are included with purchase of the G. Are these included for '05? Well I decided to delay the purchase of my new car. I am waiting for the new IS350 before I make my decision.

It varies from dealership to dealership. Here in Northern Virginia, one dealership will give 2 years of free oil changes and the other dealerships won't as a rule. However, anything is negotiable. I bought my car at one of the others, and told them that since I could get it at the one dealer, I wanted it from them. They gave me 2 years of free scheduled service.

lexus doesn't include service. to my knowledge, only Audi and BMW do this for 4 years/50,000 miles. MB dropped this in 2005.

I see! no wonder I couldn't find it in the brochure. Damn it is so tempting to just buy the g. Gotta be patient, just 5 more months til the release of the IS.

depechek.. it could just be their dealer for the Lexus. But it is not a company wide thing. My parents have had several Lexus vehicles over the years. I know like the first 2 services were free, but none beyond that.

Like others have said, some dealers offer contracts, in which you pay for a bunch upfront, probably at a reduced rate, but that just locks you into that dealer.
