HELP - Bubble in paint job on spoiler from spoilerdepot
Hey guys,
I was looking at my lip spoiler from spoiler depot the other day and noticed that there was a 5/16" dia. bubble under the paint on the right corner!!! What could have caused this? I have tried to email them numerous times but keep on getting a message back saying my email won't go through. I read on their site that their products have a lifetime warranty so Im still gonna try to call them on Monday. Problem is that I will probably get stuck with shipping charges and then I have to take it off the car and reinstall it.
It just really pisses me off to see this. The paint job on the spoiler is crap!!!
Anyways, here's some pics.

Why would have you installed it in the first place with such damage. I would first call them and see if they will take it back and replace it free of charge. Ask them to issue a call tag and have the item picked up at their expense. Next action would be to contact your credit card company and dispute the bill if you paid via credit card if you get no satisfacton from them.

It's a 150 dollar spoiler... i wouldnt have expected so much if i were you.. and i definately wouldn thave expected a lifetime warranty which seems like a GREAT deal.

I'll keep everyone informed and thanks for the responses.

Although it was cheaper than the others out there, (paid $227 shipped) it's still not a real cheap add-on. I would have expected alittle better quality than this. We'll see what they say on Monday.

Uncured paint may bubble up if it can't air out properly.
They Sent Me The Wrong Color Twice Even After Telling Them The Problem! But They Didnt Charge For The Second So I Guess Ill Paint It Myself! Know Any Good Paint Shops In So. Cal.?
UPDATE:
I took off the spoiler with the bubble in it. Man was it a pain in the a$$. I am currently waiting for the new one to be sent to me and then I send back the defective one. They seemed to be very willing to help me, but I have not received the new spoiler yet, so until I do, no glowing remarks for them.
I will post again with new info.
PS - I never waxed the spoiler. Just washed it after waiting like 2 weeks for it to cure.
