Will 20" 275/30/20 cause problem with VDC

Hi guys, i was wondering if 275/30/20 in the rears will cause any problems with the VDC. can anyone confirm this?

I was told by a tire shop that if i went 275/30/20 the VDC will turn off, not sure if he is right or not.

also, anyone know where i can get some tires for cheap? thanks in advance for the replies. i will post pics of my new 20's when i get the tires. for now, the rims are a SECRET

if you are less than 3% change in OEM diameter, you should be fine.

you should be fine, that is only .72% off. Im going to either go with that or the 285/30/20. the tire calculator at http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp will help you out.

Ive been shopping around today, and www.tirerack.com has pretty good prices. a set of BFG KDW2 for $1150- not bad.

No problems here, and I have 285/30/20.

Yeah there should be no problem, the will be less spinning anyway due to the weight of the wheel. But why would you put 20''s on. That will slow your car.

if this tire calculation is accurate, 275/30/20 will be just fine. however, 275/35/20 will cause a diameter difference of over 3% which may cause brake failure! thats pretty risky.

I have 275/30/20's on the rear of mine lowered with the eibach pro kit and have never had any issue with the VDC.

Same here.... 275/30/20 and not one issue with VDC. It still kicks in when things get out of hand just as if I had my stock size.
