Rambo...Growler again. I was checking for your symptoms on my way to the office this morning and as I'm coming off our toll road on the exit ramp I normally downshift all the way to third at times after dropping into 5th and 4th. I noticed my RPM's drop like a rock when I let off the gas between downs but just before I downshift I have to increase RPM's to match the lower gears as I hit them, this of course is what should be expected.

Suggestion: Have you noticed that your RPM's stay up when you downshift and not drop off between shifts....if they (RPM's) stay up there definately is a need for diagnosis and service, if they drop you should be OK on the upshift as well.

Let us know if you OK on the downshifts.............

I wouldn't settle for anything less than kidnapping the service advisor, and taking him on a road test to show him exactly what the problem is.

That sounds bad. Mine definitely doesn't do that. It behaves pretty much like every stick I've ever owned.
