i think a lot of ppl here understands that. its just that in some areas, like here in PA/NJ/NY, 91 is not available, so ppl pump the next one higher which is 93.

i think this is funny because all gas is pretty much pulled from the same pipe, the only thing that differentiates one brand from another are additives.

I know people get that, but they don't usually understand that a fuel with a higher octane rating will give you absolutely no benefits over the minimum octane rating fuel you can safely use. Most people understand that you can put 93 octane into a car that requires 91 octane with no ill affects, but they don't understand that 93 octane will run exactly the same as 91 octane.

Ive always used 93 Shell in my 92TTZ, Ive never had any problems or fuel issues resulting from bad gas, not to say other companies wouldnt either, but if it aint broke, leave it alone! In NC, we have just about every gas station u can imagine... But Shell has just always been my petrol of choice. Sum gas stations in Wilmington have 110, my buddy puts it in his Stealth.

I used to get Chevron. But I recently got a Mobil gas card. So I always fill up at Mobil now.
