Deal in Illinois for an 05 6MT Coupe

Hello,
The average quote I am getting in IL is 36,400 for 6MT Coupe with Premium package. This is before tax and no special financing. Some have had deals like 33K after Tax for it with 2.9 APR and they are fortunate to have the 05's at that price.

1. Should I wait until the end of this year or something?
2. How much should I pay for 05 6MT with Premium Package?
3. Are there any recommended dealers within IL?
4. How does this car (19inch wheels) drive in snow (just get from A to B)?

Thanks.

1. Just shop around for a better price.
2. $500-1000 over invoice.
3. --
4. The 19" rims comes with summer tires. The tires are not made for winter driving. Your best bet is to pick up some winter rims/tires.

1. The fed just raised the rate today, and the coupe is still selling well so I wouldn't expect anything close to 2.9%... You will be able to get an 05 sitting on the lot for a better deal near the end of the year, but its probably not worth waiting if you want to buy it now..
4. The problem with summer tires is its not just the tread thats bad in the winter the actual rubber isn't made for freezing temperatures, so it hardens up makes your traction outright dangerous. A lot of people go ahead and drive with the summer tires in the snow, but I can tell you my friend tried it in his Surbaru AWD WRX and slid off the road in minor snow conditions, so unless you can afford to garage the car on freezing/snow days I wouldn't try it. Just expect to buy some snow tires...

I just got my 05 6mt about 3 weeks ago.. it's pretty much what you said, bare except the premium package, and trunk matt. 36,400 is sticker i believe. I got mine for 35,000 before taxes. I thought it was fair since invoice was a little over 34,000. Mine had just arrived on the lot too, and they weren't keeping them on the lot very long. The first one i was interested in, sold to someone else as we came to an agreement on the deal. had to get one from his other dealership with the exact same options, but he gave it to me for what we agreed upon. I can get you in touch with him if you're in the chicagoland area, just PM me.. Was a very good buying experience in my opinion. I had my loan ready beforehand, from capital one and worked everything out over the phone and email.

Go to Orland Park!!

I just picked up a Brilliant Silver '05 6MT w/Premium package, Navi, splash guards, aero and trunk mat for $36,312. They still had a Laser Red w/Premium package, aero, splash guards and trunk mat and were offering that for $34,144. I'm not sure how they were able to offer such incredible pricing...however, I did buy it on the last day of the month. Good luck!!!

Fields infiniti in glenview said they never discount anything more than 500 off msrp on their 6mt's. So do not go to them expecting a 6mt for that price, the dealers seem like *******s when it comes to prices.

Just to clarify for your configuration MSRP is $36490 and invoice is $33451.
I bought my first G at Fields Glenview at MSRP, but that was when it was introduced in 10/31/02. Waited for 5 months on the waiting list. Second time I went to Fields Libertyville since the same salesperson in Glenview wouldn't give me a set price (over invoice) when I wanted to special order.

Call Infiti of Orland Park or Lisle... then pit them against one another. Got my 6mt, premium, nav, XM for 36. Good luck!
