Keepin it Grampa!

Heres a couple of the grampa mods i've done:

Blind spot mirrors on both sides. Completely eliminates the nasty blind spots on the coupe. No more lookin over the shoulder. $2 each at any auto parts store.

Seatbelt cushion. 5 bucks. Puts an end to the agitating neck rub from the belt on the driver side.

Now all i need is those curb feelers!!!!

Keepin it Grampa all the way!

6MT coupe, red/willow, premium, aero, (blind spot mirrors & seatbelt cushion)

Grandpa my foot. If it were a grandpa ride it wouldn't be red or a 6 M/T.
Nice touch with the mirrors-- Anyone with this ride would benefit from them. Visibility rearward is not so good.
Enjoy the ride dude.

Nothing wrong with being a Grandpa Some people could learn a lot from them.

Keep on Keepin it Grandpa and follow GSM's advice on the curb feelers

I got the grampa blind spot mirror too, but isn't it supposed to go on the outside edge of the side mirror?

I've always had those blind spot mirrors on my cars too. I put them on my G then took them off for style points. Needless to say they're back on again, couldn't live without them. The only difference is I used small round ones. The square ones look bad.

Re: Keepin it Grampa!

Well, either type will elimate the blind spot. Guess its just a matter of opinion. I think the round ones make it look like a truck, so I opted for the rectangle ones....and yes, they go on the Inside with the thick part facing inward toward the car, so they are angled and pointed directly at the blind spot. Probably still works fine if you put em on the outer edge of the mirror though. Its only a couple inches difference in location.

Too bad you couldn't remove the casing around the new mirror and low profile it's appearance on the larger mirror. That would be cool, Grampa !!

anything is possible, tec... you can always try to remove the black plastic, or just simply paint it metallic silver
