tinted rear window

hi guys, was wondering, does the tint on the rear window effect the visibility thru the rear view mirror or the tint is like one way glass, its harder to see from outside then from inside?

thanks

I just had my G tinted today (15% all around), and i was surprised at how little of a difference there was on the inside. I mean, its definitely noticible and darker, but its not hard to see out of the back at all. However, on the outside, its real dark and very difficult to see in, which i like. But to answer your question, no, it isn't that difficult to see out (thats with 15%, 5% may be a different story).

Tint no Problem

I was concerned with the tint as well. Just got 30-25-25 and really happy. Just posted a few pics, a messages before yours. No problems with visability.
Good Luck

i have 5% tint on my other other car (camaro) and yes it affects visibility. For example, when trying to backup in a dark location (no street lights), i literally have to roll my windows down because seeing out of the back windshield is near impossible unless in a nice lighted area, and the sides are so dark you cannot see anything out of the side mirrors thru the tint (hense why rolling windows down helps). But during the day it's not bad at all. And at night, it's not super bad if there is ample street lighting around you, but definitely a difference. I still like the 5% tho, --can't see in at ALL during day/night. I'll probably go with 15% on my G tho. Getting older, and $90 tickets for tint suck!
