I ordered a mobil 1 oil filter with a bunch of other small stuff from everythingg35.com and they send me model M1-110. Mobil's website says I need M1-108. Can anyone confirm if M1-110 will fit? I would hate to be in the middle of an oil change and find out it doesn't fit....

 

I got the same M1-110 from them and it fits fine. I think it's just a bit longer than the M1-108, but I'm pretty everything else is within spec.

 

yes, m-108 is a direct replacement for the oem filter. m-110 is slightly larger.

there has been a huge debate over which one is the better one. go with the one you're most comfortable with.

no short-term effect from me going with the m-110. have had this for two oil changes. plan to go back to m-108 just for kicks.

I use the recommend one, not sure of the number but It's what ever is listed. btw you can get them from autozone with free shipping.

 

I think the 110 is the same size as the larger of the available OEM ones for the VQ35 engine filter #15208-9E00 which works out fine on my car now. I ordered several of the mobil filters there myself and received the 110 also but haven't got it on my car yet.
