Money doesn't always equal a better car.

I'll take my G35 thank you!

Agreed!!!

And along those lines:
Final Assembly
G35 Coupe 6MT Japan
3-Series Germany

...and unlike the E36 AND E46, I'm pretty certain the G35 wont have any subframe mount issues. Domo arigato.

I know I made a great choice and am very happy with what I have. Judging by the compliments and attention I receive on the car it's apparent many others feel the same way too.

Couldn't agree more

BMWs

I came close to buying a BMW M3 back in early '04. I bought a Z06 instead. I like to personalize and customize my cars. Modding them and seeing the "creation" afterwards is a hobby of mine.

I looked at the aftermarket for the BMWs and said holy cr*p batman! There are still so few products for the M3 and the few that are out there are absolutely REDICULOUS in price and in function. The Dinan stuff is ULTRA expensive and the horsepower gains are silly.

Granted, I spent $30,000 at Lingenfelter.... but my car went from a 12.50s 1/4 mile car to an 11.30s car pulled that could pull over 1g on the skidpad and I never saw another one just like mine. Still a C5, but rare... heh.

Here's a picture of the 610hp Lingenfelter Z06 I chose over the bimmer because I could paly around with it and customize it more..hehehe

New G gives my old BMW a run for the money, and more!

Newbie here. Just picked up my new '05 G35X sedan last week, and can't seem to remove the smile from my face every time I get in it.

I'm coming out of driving 3 different BMW's over the past 7 years (3 & 5-series) and can't believe what a well put together machine this G35 is. Besides the high performance driving feel and cornering ability, it sounds better than a BMW.

Nothing on the market touches this car for price. I looked at it in '03 but the styling didn't do it for me ... with the '05 new interior, increased power, and AWD, it will be a while before I go back to BMW and pay $10k more.

Way to go Infiniti ... I love it!

"This forums aspires to something better while bmr M3 people take a step down, spike their hair, put that pink Ralph Lauren polo on (how's that for stereotype) and compare themselfs to a much better overall bang for a buck."

THats awsome, this @$$hole i know is the exact image you get when reading that. Typical Pink polo with the collar up, but he (his mommy I should say) paid about 45k for his 330ci with all the bells and whistles and i got my G used for about 26k and i mop the floor with his @$$.

Yea i feel what your saying.. I basically spent the same you did, a little more but got a complete racecar package and engine work basically.. Im doing exactly what you did, totally transmoring the car and customizing/modifying to be truely unique.. The outcome? A 550+ HP M3 that will be running mid 11's, not bad for an M3 haha, in a month i'll see the 500 wheel mark, we'll see

Yeah well there will always b ppl that praise their car more than the car deserves. I bet some G35 drivers claim that G35's are faster than some cars which are not... Its a waste of time reading those types of threads. 3 series < G35 < M3 in performance, but G35 goes way on top in looks.
