when you do power shiftiing, you dont let off the gas while you shift right? But when you race, you always shift near the redline zone. So, I'm confused here, if you shift near the redline, and you dont let off the gas, wont your needle pass the redline and hit rev limiter?

Stock I doubt its possible but I am not saying anyones lying but maybe your ear wanted to hear it that you did...in your head? Or co incidince of a freak occurence at the same time leading you to believe it was a chirp? (i.e. a bird chirping RIGHT as you passed by and shifted )

I find it hard to believe cause its a big feat for Supras with +700rwhp to be able to chirp 4th...
I wrote about my 1st track experience last Oct or Nov. I was very surprised when I chirped 4th on the first run...then the second, third, fourth, and fifth runs. And without powershifting [too afraid to not let off the gas at such high RPMs ]. I shifted at about 6.9K or 7K.

I can chirp 4th all day long now with quick shifts.

I don't consider myself the quickest shifter, but I know I'm not that slow.
