What taxes and fee's did you pay?
What taxes and fee's did you pay?
I tried to search everywhere and cannot find a general amount.
So when you bought your G35 new, you settled on a certain price. Then after taxes, fees, lic, etc, you get the OTD price. Around what percent should I add to my negotiated price in order to get an OTD price?
For example, today I got a quote from an internet sales manager for $38,084. I live in CA so what do you think my OTD price will be?
Also, what fee's should I expect? I don't want to them start adding fee's for no reason to try and trick me.
Thanks guys.

Its usually just tad less than 10 percent, for me... 8.75 sales tax(3020) and 0.8~ish percent($272)for license fee, then there is tire fee($8)?, document fee($45 some might be higher) and some dealer might charge you some kind prep fees? check and ask before hand, like i said...watch every step
Thats what we are here for, ppl helped me two years ago, just pass it on...good luck on your purchase, if you have time? try to stop by the meet this saturday, I am sure ppl there are more than willing to help with any questions you might have with purchasing an G.
by the way, not sure you knew about this, if you have average credit, at 5 percent rate, for every thousand dollars you financed its 18.87 (.46 more or less for each percent)for 60 mos and 23.02 for 48 mos, so you can do a quick math in your head and see if dealer's monthly price is close.

In Oregon, $0 sales tax and $129 for 4 year registration. I bought it in WA and had to pay $19 trip permit.
By far the cheapest I've paid in Taxes and Fee's ever.

you too can get 0% sales tax in your state..
1) take trade in value of 38,000 (even if you owe 37,500)
2) take selling price of 38,000
38,000
minus
38,000
sales tax on $0 = 0 (regardless of percentage)
now add 37,500 to the selling price to calculate what you owe the dealer, add plates and other fees.

I bought mine with a high value trade and paid a total of 350 in fees and taxes.

Hmmm.. This is in canadian dollars. The car (6mt without nav) is listed at 49,300 cdn plus fee (1250 pdi) and taxes (7%). I found out through a reliable source that the invoice price is 44,600 cdn plus fee and taxes.
I paid a price that is somewhere in the middle. Gotta let the salesman make some $.
