I went to a dealership last night to check out a 6 speed g35 coupe. i look at the car and i dont see the gold brembo calipers on the rotors. im like wth so i ask wheres the brembos. the salesman tells me brembos are discontinued now from the 05. WHYYYYYYYY?????? im positive it was a 6spd g35c as well becuz i went inside the car and sat in it. but whyyyyy are the brembos gone???!?!>

 

He's lying to you...All 'O5 comes with Brembo's including the 4 doors. It comes in Ultra Green Metallic this year.

 

you have an option for 05 coupes, i got mine in bombastic blue

There are many "grassy knoll" and "conspiracy" theories as to why the Brembo's are not offered on the 05 G35's. 04 was the last year for them on the 6MT's. The 05's are offered with very capable brakes......you can get them painted whatever color you want them to be at your local body shop or the convience of your own driveway.......there are many nice colors to choose from

They dropped them for lack of performance!!!! Plus the OEM look so much better behind 19's!!!

 

i asked my dealer about why there was no more brembos....he said they were discontinued in northern areas due to the pads squealing in cold weather. the pads need to be nice and toasty and he said that in the winter too many people were complaining of screetching brake pads.

 

should have gone with chrome turquoise

 

I was close to get boombastic blue, but I ended up with fantastic fusia.
