Watch out...
I'm learning that if something goes wrong with your car, the dealership may try to say that it is abuse on your part.....

If anyone has had this problem let me know.....??????

Re: Watch out...
That is due to the fact that we have people buying this car that arent enthusiasts....not that there is anything wrong with that....this ISNT a perfect world after all....And the majority of this forum consists of g35 owners who aren't nissan enthusiasts...they are OLD PEOPLE......Here in Florida..OLD PEOPLE...drive Cadillacs, Lincolns, Mercurys...thats it...Occasionaly you'll find one in a Honda Hybrid..but thats about it.

Hey gump, dont take that $hit from them. They have no way of proving that it is "abuse" unless you tell them that you abused it.
Your clutch should be under warranty man, 12,000mile/12months last time i heard.

Re: Watch out...
well guys i had to pay because they showed me the clutch and the flywheel and they both were burned up....so i have to pay about $500 fo rit to be fixed....
Re: Watch out...
Heh... this coming from the poster child for auto abuse.
It's the "enthusiasts" that do clutch-drops from 4,000 RPM's that are abusing the cars, not the people that drive it with respect.

Re: Watch out...
You sholuld have got the automatic like us old people, when I was young (decades ago) I liked clutches and burned them quite often almost every month, but I accepted the consequence of the abuse. I had to change them myself. I got tired of changing them, so i took it easy on my car and the clutch lasted for ever, now being an old man and such I have the auto five speed coupe, and It does well when i wanto to, it did this the other day , just for my curiosity ........
