After market Clear bras?

i asked my dealer about the protective film from their factory it cost 900$$ for that and i know for a fact aftermarket clear bras do NOT cost THAT much can anyone tell me what company clear bras they got for their G?

I have so far heard of LEXshield, 3M clear bra and CLEAR PRO clear bras anyone know how much these go for and which is LESS noticeable when installed?

it's not the material of the clear bra itself that is so expensive. i imagine all the material runs about the same costs. the dealer is full of ****, none of the cars come from the factory with a clear bra.. if you add on a clear bra option they will usually call in someone else to install the clear bra.

usually the price is not going to be determined by what brand/company you get the clear bra from, but form the installer.

and you should probably wait more than 30 minutes next time before bumping your post.

There are only a few different brands of film out there. I happen to like 3M because i think it sticks best and has best appearence when installed. If you were shopping around for a kit and 3 different companies all offered 3M film, then you would have to decide on whose kit you think looks better.

Also the lighter the color of your car, the harder it is the see. I install PPF, so if you have questions just email me or call.

I had the Llumar film installed, much clearer than 3M. The key to a clearbra is the INSTALL!!! Check out references of your installer b4 you agree.

Good Luck! Clearbra is a MUST!

The dealer charges more because he can.....there are many aftermarket installers, some good, some bad, that will do the job for less. In the NY/NJ area there are a few good ones. Going rate is about $400-$500. Check around before you do it. They do work and are virtually invisible until you get right on top of it.

Well I am not sure why the US charge for so much , right now a clear bra professionally install up in canada is $175-250. Agincourt Nissian is charginging 250 for the clear bra. Man US are getting a rip off.
