Sweet Deal at Glendale Infiniti...

Hey everyone, I've been lurking this forum forever and finally just bought my '05 Black G35 6MT Coupe last night at Glendale Infiniti in So-Cal. I got it for $1000 over invoice (came out to $37,600.11 out the door) with 2.9% financing!!! Possibly post pics later. Thanks everyone for all the great info and advice.

This is my first car purchase and I told them that I was going to finance through my credit union for 3.99%, and they just said that they could beat it. The manager first looked at some sheet he had on the wall and said 2.9%, but then he said he made a mistake and said it was for the '04s, and then looked at it again and said that he could do it for the '05. My credit score is well over 700. Thanks.

I don't think so, because he was reading some kind of sheet that was specifically set for "SPRING Financing." I guess it was the most recent APR financing they had. I'm not even too sure if they could make "exceptions."

omg , if you got that deal from infiniti of glendale than you got a heck of deal. i was in there last month to get my 05 at premium for the almost the same price u got and they keep stating they wont even touch that price because the car is still hot in the market. btw their customer service sucks real bad, basically they lied to the point where they took the paper work to me for signing n luckily i read everything n made sure the #s were correct. sure enough it was around 43k with interest of 7.9% (wtf, i never agreed on this ) the car itself came out to be 38xxx with tax. i just walk out n didnt say a word. never going back there again, their just full of bs

Yeah, I was really surprised that they even discounted the car at all. But the manager just told me that the owner decided to let me have it at this price. I was in conversation via email with the owner before I stepped onto the lot. So they called me and said they'd do $1000 over invoice. They were pretty upfront with me, no BS or tricky number changing. I was working with Garri the salesman and Bill the manager, both whom are real nice guys.

Curious as to how you have a beacon score over 700 and this is the first car you buy.

I dunno, I've had credit cards since I was a teenager, and all throughout college paid everything with credit cards. So I guess all that credit card debt and cell phone bills and stuff gave me that score. I'm 23 now by the way.
