I'm 400 miles away from home. At college, you don't really need to use your car everyday unless you live off campus. You are living on campus since you're gonna be a freshman, right? I have about 3-4k miles on my car over last 5 1/2 months and I took a trip to home about 3 times. What is your lease terms on mileage? If it's 12k miles or over, then just drive it. I bet you will hardly put on 500 miles per month when you're at college unless you like to travel a lot. I only drive about 300-400 miles per month when I'm here in college.

Ummm... I put 5k miles on my G a month.

Currently at 43k and its an 04.

The way I look at it is that the car was meant to be driven and I'm not paying for a 30,000 dollar car just so itll sit there.

A lease is a differnet story now.
