G35 Seat Covers

Hey guys, new G35 owner here and would like to know where I can get nice looking seat covers. Tried the search and net, but no go..???

Also, after just putting 195,000 on my 1990 300ZX, I received quite a few door dings, even after parking in the back 40.....how does the G35 look with the side molds???

Thanks....great info on this site.

well I would have said it a little nicer than toptech, but why do you want seat covers? the oem seats are so nice, why cover them up?

as for the side molding, check this thread https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...t=side+molding

Maybe you can check out the JDM product here, it's from the Nissan Japan site.

the ONLY reason I would buy a cover is so that I could go and come back to the gym. I dont like swetting or being dirty on my car. When its cold, I have to go in my car and well... I dont have a seat cover so I use a big towel. I rather use a towel I already have than pay for a seat cover wich will be harder to put and take away all the time.

No doubt.....if I didn't have any hobbies there would be no problem, however I like to SCUBA dive, surf, run marathons and race motorcycles.....so seat covers would go a long way in preserving that beautiful leather. I had some sweet looking covers on my 300ZX, but forget the manufactures name??? Maybe I'll check with the guys at my350Z.....they even have group buys on trailer hitches

Thanks

Wouldn't seat covers get in the way of the lower side air bags?

BTW, I surf and I don't think the leather would be something to worry about assuming you shower, dry yourself off completely, and wear clean clothes.

(Need a shower... bring large jugs of water)

One problem w/ a seat cover is that the power adjustments are right by your leg and the cover would block access to it.

As for side moldings, I have heard that they are too low to do much good, so you will get door dings anyways. People suck, don't they!

Just buy a big as$ towel and put it on your trunk... then sit on it. If you go to the beach, I'd be more worried about the salt in the air.

S2020 I live in South Florida, but thanks. I may have found a seat cover company that might have the quality I'm looking for....I agree P Diddy, sounds like several people are finding the side moldings don't provide enough protection to make it worth screwing up the G35 lines....I just HATE the thought of walking up to my G35 and see some hill billy door ding on my car

Hey, I guess I am not the only one looking for a seat cover. Could not find one for the coupe either. I saw some seat cushions for lawn/dining chairs at Target and maybe these might work but they don't look that great. Cannot find the right color to match my stone interior. Still looking and let you know if I find anything.

Hey Gnut looking for something a step to two above seat cushions for lawn/dining chairs at Target. This is the best I've found so far....might look good in tan with the Infiniti logo in black in the middle of the cover. My interior is tan with red exterior.

I have seat covers for a two reason. 1. To protect my seats. I have read a couple of post where people are complaining about the leather wearing out and now they have wrinkles. My seats look the same way they look when I drove off the dealer's low. 2. It gets hot in Miami, especially in the summer. The thermostat in the car reads 106 degrees in the summer. I have a black on black and my seats will burn the back of my legs when you first get in the car after it has been sitting all day in the Miami sun. I got my seat covers local.
