05 s2k vs 04 g35 coupe

For those who are curious at comparing an s2k vs. a g35, here's a good vid between the two cars. Hopefully not repost.

If the s2000 had a back seat and looked less like a Miata, it would be an amazing car.

Although I do not condone that type of racing, that was excellent footage for an in car video. That S2K is a fast little sucker! I figured the G would start to pull once solidly in the triple digits. Glad you and everyone else are safe.

repost and subject of a major debate here in the coupe forum. I believe the thread title was called "who's G is this? getting beat by an s2k" or something like that.

Why compare a sports car and a Lux sports car? Should be more worried about cars in the same class...

Don't condone street racing...come on everyone does it do some extent. I do it every chance I get, But i just stop at or near the speed limit =D

its hard to tell which one is better than the other after modifying (s2k and G)
G is definately weights more...i mean more more more than s2k
while we get more power.
dont you guys think that they are even regardless of its class?

Not a fair comparison, the G was stock and maybe automatic, while the S CLEARLY had at least an exhaust (it's not THAT loud stock) and maybe even more mods....Stock for stock, the S would have to work HAAARRRRRRRDD to keep up.

#1 stock vs modded

#2 (more important) G35 had a passanger what that another 200lbs?

weight makes a Big Difference. I read an article where a 350Z lost 500lbs and gained over 1/2 sec in the 1/4 mi.

The S200 had intake, exhaust, and suspension modifications. Stock vs. stock, it would be a much closer race.
