I want to buy a factory stereo console. Does anyone know where to get one? Maybe someone that has upgraded to the JDM double din?? I am getting my stereo installed and don't want to pay the big bucks for the jdm one and I don't want to wait for it either. I have seen a diy on cutting out the factory one but I don't want to ruin mine.

 

How do you get around the a/c controller being attached to the factory bose stereo?

I posted in this forum for a reason. Mostly becuase I want to find someone selling one and this gets more traffic than the audio forum. I'm sorry if I replyed with a question.

If you want to put aftermarket head unit into factory location? you will have to get stand alone AC controllers along with new dash peice, cus there is no way around the factory AC and radio controll, but there are other options, like put it into cubby hole(fiberglassing), four hundren dollars is well worth it.
