Thinking of getting the G coupe
Ok guys I'm new here and I have an appointment to test drive the 350Z this coming Sat. This past weekend I test-drove the G35 coupe. I was very pleased with the handling of the G,The exterior/interior. So; so far I like the G. I need to know of any pros and cons of getting the G over the Z. I Currently own a 02 Max but I don't like it.

The main problem with the 350Z is the rear visibility. It sucks!
Also no sunroof, but some people do not like a sunroof. You have more headroom in the G35 coupe with a sunroof than in a 350Z.
The G35 6 speed coupe is cheaper than the 350Z track and touring at only 32.5K and you get everything except for the sunroof and bose. The 350Z touring sucks compared to the G35C, because you can not get the Brembos. The 350Z track sucks compared to the 350Z because you can not get leather seats.
The G35c also looks better in real life vs the 350Z.
The door shut better and the exhuast note sounds awesome in the G35 coupe vs the 350Z.

Read some of the older posts where people expressed their opinions on this. The flat out truth is that the G35c is quicker than the Z on anything except a straight line (faster in the twisties) and is more luxurious. Better dealer experience (usually), better warranty, better insurance rates, better interior. OF course, go ask then people at the Z forum and they will try to swing you there way I'm sure. But those are facts.

Just so that we are fairling representing the Z here (although this board is certainly biased towards the g35c - and rightfully so), you can get leather on the track model, but it will cost you an extra $1000. That's makes the track w/ leather pretty pricey compared to the g35c 6MT. Although the brembos on the track model Z are not the same as the ones on the g35c.
