Congrats on the article. Your car looks great. I was excited to see the G on the cover b/c I am thinking of making a G my first project car and was pleased to see the level of support for the G35 that exists in the aftermarket community. So it's not all about RSXs and EVOs. heh heh
I was looking at the picts in the article. What is the (green?)screen that is mounted under the DVD/stereo? Is the TEIN control what is mounted next to where the driver's right leg would be - or is that something else? I haven't noticed many Nissan/Inf modders popping a new steering wheel on, even when heavy modifications are being done to the car. Is this b/c no one wants to lose the controls in the factory wheel - or something else? Did you stick with that wheel just b/c you liked it?
So that's a bunch of newbie questions - but hey - I'm a newbie! I'll probably come up with more later.

The green screen is the Profec E-01 Greddy boost controller. It has the ability to monitor up to three inputs at once and also can display live real time data points in a graph format. It also controls the e-manage computer that was installed with the turbos. It is an amazing device.
The piece beside the driver's leg is the Tein EDFC. It controlles the four corners of the suspension dampening.
The steering wheel I left stock because I didn't want to get hassled by the popo for removing the safety device (air bag), although I have been tempted many times to yank it out. The steering wheel controls no longer work with my aftermarket HU but there is a device that I can add that allows you to still use the controls with infrared sensors or something. I think PAC makes it.
Don't worry about being a noob, as we were all noobs at one time or another.
