....yes, you will have to pay taxes......both for the car sale AND for the value of the car next year at tax time as a "prize".

My buddy won a car at a Big 10 basketball game but sold it since he didn't need it, He sold for less than what a dealer would charge but made enough to cover the taxes and put a chunk of change in his pocket....

Why would you want a hummer? You'd practically pay for the car in gas money within your first oil change

Thanks for all the congrats! this was the best memorial day weekend ever heheh..won a new car, got free new floormats for my coupe, new replacement cellphone , wrote up 2 mortgages, got a $25 giftcard in the mail lol..i just bought a lotto ticket for tomorrow so hopefully the stars and moon n all that are still aligned for me lol

The car i was sitting in was a Yukon Denali at an automall in the Sacramento, CA area..the manager said that is the one I should win but wasn't sure..but he offered to buy it back from me before i drive it off the lot
